Saadani National Park is only and unique reserve in Tanzania and East Africa at whole with sea beaches as facing the Indian Ocean. It is the only reserve where its beaches encountered by the natural vegetation along the Indian ocean shores.
The presence of the Saadan National Park is the result of Wildlife Reserve managed since 1960s accompanied by Zaraninge Natural Forest Reserve. This park is located between the Tanga and the Coastal regions.

The Saadan National Park is located about 50 Kl from Zanzibar islands where its about 3 hours by ship and also about 50 minutes by boat. It is approximately 45 km from Bagamoyo (The historical city) and from Dar es salaam is about 100 kilometers away.
GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES:
Coastal valleys, small hills and Kiono mountain that protects the natural zaraninge forest in the southwest.
On the North Side of this Landmark is surroundings by attractive small hills while in the south is the Valley of Wami river.
CLIMATIC CONDITION:
It ranges from 0 to 350 from sea level.
MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS AND SPECIES:
Beaches and oceans where there are sea-turtle that lay eggs in the ground on the area known as Madete. Likewise, within the river Wami in the southern part of this park there are varieties of animals and birds including hippopotamus as well as ocean water that meet a river stream (Estuaries River).
Wild life in Saadani National park also including East African Lions, African bush elephants, Buffaloes, African Leopard, Masaai Giraffes, Yellow Baboons, Blue, black and white monkeys, crocodile as well as nile monitors found in this classic park.
